"Having grown up as a twin, I have kept in touch with at least one person that I graduated with....maybe two or three. Anyway, time has really moved by quickly and I have really been caught up in this whirl wind. I have lived in Oak Cliff, Duncanville, DeSoto, Wilmer, Lancaster, Hutchins, Longview, Waxahachie, and now Maypearl.
"From 1967-1970, I attended college and graduated from DBC in 1970 (first graduating class). I went on to a 12 year teaching/athletic training career in Dallas (Skyline H.S.), DeSoto H.S., and Longview (Pine Tree H.S.) "In 1983 I began a new career with Dr Pepper in Dallas and I am still here. (I tell everyone who wants to hear that I use to teach health and tell all my students that soft drinks were bad for them, and now I sell them.) Anyway along the way, I have been married , divorced, remarried and have 2 wonderful daughters (Stacy and Carrie) and am now raising a grandson from my current marriage. "I could not stay away from education, so I spent 9 years as a trustee on the school board at Maypearl,Texas, where I now live on a 12 acre farm. I have hosted a country gospel show every Sunday night, for the last 5 years, on KBEC in Waxahachie. "My hobbies include trains, Dr Pepper collectibles, antiques, and traveling (camping w/travel trailer). Paul and I still are thick as mud and as they say about twins, "when he hurts I hurt and vice versa" (too many stories to tell about hurts and getting old). God has brought me to this point in my life and I know He will carry me on. "Until we cross each others path again, thanks for the memories..................." |
