Gaylon and his wife, Bonnie, moved in 2016 across the golf course to a gated community to downsize. Still in Spring, TX outside of Houston. They have a big old chocolate lab named Duke and also have 5 grandkids from 3 to 25. His daughter, Noelle has two boys, 10 and 13, Her husband Jay graduated from OSU, the one in OK and has a masters from A&M. "Hurts this Red Raiders soul when we lose to one of his two schools". Noelle has a graphic design degree and a teaching degree and is a second grade teacher. Their other daughter, Jen, lives in Montgomery with husband Steve. They are a merged family. Dallas, Jens son, and Maddie, Steve daughter who is married to Travis. Jen and Steve are in the process of adopting a three year old, Olivia. His son, Jon, is superintendent for Hensel Phelps. His wife is a director at PWC. No kids except for Brodie, a bull massive. Gaylon retired in 2021. Bonnie and grandsons use air quotes when he says he is retired. He has been teaching at EAB training center, writing curriculum and this year has written the ANS/AABC standard. He became president of EAB in 2010 and stepped down in 2020.
They are enjoying family and grandkids along with traveling and staying healthy. |
