"Over the years, I have taught secondary math for 7 years, was a high school assistant principal for 1 year, an associate principal for instruction at the high school level for 15 years, an elementary school principal for 4 years and an Assistant Professor of Educational Administration for 2 years at TAMU-Commerce (from where I retired in 2002.)

"My husband of 23 years, Kenneth (also a retired high school principal), farm and ranch on about 1,200 acres in the Paris, Texas area. Besides farming and ranching, we get to travel a lot. I belong to a women's social group and we attend a local Methodist church. Between us, we have 2 daughters and 1 son, 1 son-in-law and 2 precious grandsons, all of whom live in Carrollton, so we get to visit often.

"Kenneth has been diagnosed with a rare and incurable cancer within the last year, but he is being successfully treated at this time. Even with this major setback, we still consider ourselves to have been blessed by God more than our share!"
