After graduation, Betty taught school for five years, and then became a life insurance underwriter. Betty retired in 2016, after the death of her husband, Eugene "Gene" Paul, and moved back home to Texas where she now resides in Hewitt with her son Jon to be closer to the rest of her family after spending many years living in Nashville, Tennessee. As of now, Betty is not a grandmother. |
