"After graduation I went to work at Union Bankers Insurance Company and that is where I met my husband of 40 years, Leslie Lund. I attended UTA and was going to room with Sherry Willis at North Texas University in the fall of 1967, but Leslie decided I should room with him instead and ask me to marry him in October, and we were wed in December 1967. Sorry Sherry . . . I know we would have had so much fun and North Texas probably never would have been the same. Sherry and I are still friends today.

"Leslie and I have two daughters, Lori Lund, a Manager at Ernst & Young and Lisa Tucker, a teacher in Frisco ISD. Our girls both went to Texas Tech. We have three beautiful grandchildren that keep us very active. We also enjoy playing golf at Thorntree Country Club in DeSoto.

"I have been the secretary at Duncanville High School for twenty-two years and plan to retire after two more years. I work with some really terrific people that really do make a difference in our student's lives at DHS. Some of the teachers that were at Kimball are now at DHS or retired from DHS. They are Conrad Carter (math), the best teacher in the whole wide world who also taught my two girls, Nancy Pollard (English), Flo Judd (English), Suzanne McDougle (spanish/English), Frances Phillips (English), Brian Winnett (typing), Loretta Louis (English), and Mrs. Wooten (business).

"My memories of Kimball are somewhat fading with the years; however, the musicals were so much work and fun. Also, remember "tacky day". A bunch of us rode our bicycles to school, from a long distance away too I might add, but we had so much fun. Remember Mr. Durrett on the PA system . . . nothing like it. I must say a special "thank you" to my high school buddy, Bert Bader, the best attorney in Dallas. He was there for my family when I needed him. I lunch everyday with many Kimball grads from the years of 1966-68. We reminisce often! There truly are no relationships like those from our high school days.

"I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. I will always cherish our high school memories and the friendships that have continued through the years. Love to all."
