After graduation Bob spent two years in the US Army, and served in Vietnam with the173rd Airborne Infantry as squad leader. After his tour of duty, Bob spent 30 yearsin the Human Resources Management profession. In September 2000, he moved from Duncanville to Flower Mound and started Bank Brokers of Texas LLC, where he is President & CEO. His company is engaged in bank mergers and acquisitions. In 2005, he created the Network of Retired Bank Executives and Regulators, a division of his
company, which places retired bank executives in interim positions with community banks.
Bob married Linda Kelley (Sunset 1965) in 1968. Today they have two daughters Jennifer 33 and Julie 29. They also have two grandsons and a granddaughter. All of them reside in the Dallas area. Bob enjoys playing golf when he has the time. |
