"We had four kids and I now have seven grandchildren.

"I earned a BBA in Finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Usually I make about a half of the home football games - I am about 100 miles west of Austin.

"I spent most of my working life in Houston - banks, saving and loans, FDIC and the Resolution Trust Corp (selling assets of failed banks and savings and loans), single family home loan origination, origination of mortgage backed securities. My last employment (work for pay) was with the largest multi-family (apartment) loan servicing company in the US. It Looks more like a pinball machine than a career path, doesn't it? But I can't complain because I always landed on my feet. I retired in 2017 and am keeping busy with "ranch work" and volunteer work at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area where I am the senior interpretive guide and I am also involved with the Native Plant Society of Texas and Friends of Enchanted Rock."
