Judith Ann Klosterman Craig, 2007
After Judy left Kimball, she did what most young women did - entered college (Arlington State which became the University of Texas at Arlington after her first year there) and majored in Secretarial Administration. After graduation, she worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service in the personnel department and quickly decided that military types were not for her. Judy got married, bought a house in Polk Terrace, worked for Cotter and Company True Value Distribution Center for 12 ˝ years, and had two boys (now 25 and 20 respectively).
As a child, Judy wanted to be in the medical profession and got her wish 26 years ago when she started working at Children’s Medical Center. After two years at Children’s, she moved on to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where she found her true calling and is currently the Supervisor of Surgery Education Programs and now has 89 ‘children’. Judy has been at UTSW for 24 years and plans to retire by 2014. Her job allows her to travel and meet other coordinators across the nation.
Judy maintained her choral training under Ms. Lamb and has been singing in her church choir for 23 years. She has done dinner theater and was a member of the Women’s Chorus of Dallas.
Judy is the grandmother of 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter who give her great joy.
