Wilson Barnes Fryar, 1966 Wilson and Eva Fryar, 2001 |
After graduation, I went to Texas A&M. At the end of my junior year, I married Diane Bowers (KHS 67). We both received degrees from A&M in May '71. After 9 year and 2 kids, we divorced. I remarried in 1980 to Nikki Wilks (Richardson HS 66) and 2 more kids (2+2=4). Just after Thanksgiving, 1998, we lost Nikki to a massive stroke. In 2001, I walked the aisle again with Eva Hunt and 2 more daughters(2+2+2=6 kids???-and I'm an only child). The Lord has blessed me a second time in marriage. We have 12 grandchildren. At Christmas last year, we had 41 stockings hung from the mantle for family.
After graduation from A&M, and a short stint with the Army, we stayed in College Station 6 more years where I worked for the University and in construction. Then, 2 years in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. ( I know how to make a fast million there - go with 2 million). I returned to Dallas single, worked construction, married again and moved to Frisco for 14 years. In 1995, with 4 kids on their own, we moved to Celeste (closer to Leonard) (about half way between Greenville and Denison on Hwy 69) on 100 acres. It only took me 30+ years to make it to the country. I was laid off in 2004 and am still trying to figure out what to do next. You can contact Wilson via e-mail at wilson_fryar@earthlink.net |
