After graduating highs chool and college, Victor taught high school German and English for 3 years in Greenville, Texas. Then he joined the Air Force as a B-52 bomber crewmember. He eventually became an instructor radar navigator (bombardier) at the Combat Crew Training School in California and ended up his career as a staff officer at the Headquarters, Strategic Air Command in Nebraska.
After leaving the service, Victor taught high school for 12 years, 11 of them at Omaha Christian Academy. "There I taught German, English, Bible, and drama. I also served as Secondary Head Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, and Accreditation Chair. While at OCA, I continued my studies in Education Administration. "Now my wife Sandy and I lead a quiet life in the country, 67 miles northwest of New York City. We feed the wild turkeys and watch the wild life (but we don't lead one). We have 3 kids and 3 grandchildren, with another one on the way. Not bad for someone who didn't think he'd live past 25."I have been quite busy as the administrator of Goshen Christian School in Goshen, New York. Just as I'm living the final chapters of my life, I'm writing the final chapters of my dissertation, fulfilling a life-long dream. It's been a wonderful life so far."
