"After high school I joined the Navy and spent a couple of years in Japan. I moved back to Dallas in November of 69. I joined Texas Industries and moved up the ladder from truck driver to fleet manager.
"Betty and I were married in September of 1978 and I have been living the dream ever since! "In October of 1986 I joined Chaparral Delivery Service as a driver and eventually became part owner and Vice President. I left there in December of 2003 to join FedEx Freight. "I retired as Fleet Maintenance Manager in April of 2015. I highly recommend retirement! It provides the time needed to enjoy your wife, children and grandchildren." |
