Having graduated from Texas Tech with a BA in English and Theatre Arts, I am currently a certified secondary teacher. I make life miserable for seniors trying to pass English IV at The Academy in the Las Colinas area of Irving, where I have lived for over 20 years. I also do some choreography for selected productions at the Arts Center.

Before returning to the teaching profession in 1997, my husband and I owned an international construction company which we took public on the New York Stock Exchange in the early eighties. Our company has worked in more than 50 countries worldwide with a peak employment of 5,000. After retiring a year after going public, I found I was not the personality to stay home, so I dusted off my teaching credential and here I am.

I have two grown children, Wendy (32) who is also a teacher, married, living in Chicago with a beautiful little girl (my only grandchild). My son, Patrick (25), is now ready to graduate from college (he's been on the seven year plan) and is starting his own insurance and financial services business. I now have a beautiful little grandson named Drew pictured with my granddaughter, Margaret.

It was wonderful seeing so many friends at the 40th reunion and look forward to many more. I now live in Las Colinas (fancy name for Irving, Texas) where I can be close to my mom as we lost my dad last April. His name was Cloyde C. Pinson, Sr., and he is the founder of the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located next to Dallas Baptist University. If any of you ever get back to the Oak Cliff area and have an opportunity to visit the National Cemetery, it is truly a moving experience. Our family is very proud of my father and his accomplishments for veterans throughout North Texas.

In the last picture, you may recognize Sammy Maddox with me. We both wish all of you our very best in 2007.

Life has been good and I am thankful for all of its blessings; my best to all of you.
