Bobby Jack Brady is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Houston. He has been married for 40 years to his wife Sue, and they have 4 children, Christine, Melissa, Bobby and Andrew, as well as five grandchildren.

Bobby served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970, in the US Army. He is a Professional Engineer and is registered in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Wisconsin, New York, Oklahoma, Arizona and Georgia. He has worked around the world in Indonesia, Abu Dhabi, Oman, St. Croix Virgin Islands and Canada as well as the US mainland designing and building heavy industrial plants such as refineries, cement, petro-chemical, cryogenic, power and food plants.

"From 2002 through 2007 I lived and worked in the UK updating the West Coast Main Line (railroad) between Glasgow Scotland and London. I saw a significant part of Scotland and England (UK) during the 5 years that I lived and worked there. My job took me to most of the major cities and hundreds of villages served by the rail system. The English countryside is beautiful, the Lochs in Scotland spectacular!

"From 2008 to early 2009 I worked in Pascagoula, Mississippi on what was supposed to be the construction of five major projects at the Chevron refinery. When the economy tanked, Chevron postponed or cancelled most of the work so Bechtel sent me to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada to complete the construction of a heavy tar sands bitumen upgrader which we completed near the end of 2010. I never really had experienced cold before working in Alberta, the temperatures dropped to -50 degrees centigrade and I learned how to shovel snow.

"From 2011 to 2012 I worked in Port Arthur, Texas on the Motiva Refinery.

"From early 2012 to this past July (2013) I was assigned to Bechtel’s London office. During my stay I made trips to Azerbaijan, Oman, Turkey and Germany working on gas and oil projects for British Petroleum (BP). Baku, Muscat, Istanbul and Munich are great places to visit. Some of the much smaller, remote and less developed places in Azerbaijan and Oman not so much.

"Since July 2013 I have been assigned to our Houston office in a functional management role making occasional business trips but able to sleep in my own bed most nights.

"Our four (4) children (Christine, Melissa, BJ and Andrew) are all grown and on their own. Christine graduated from Houston Baptist University with a BS in nursing, is an OR nurse in the Woodland, married to a great guy (Patrick) who is a professor at the UT medical school in Houston and has given us three grandchildren (Hannah, Emily and Peyton) Melissa graduated from UT San Antonio with a BS in music, is a stay at home mom, married to a great guy (Joel) who is a career soldier currently serving in Afghanistan and given us two grandchildren (Gabriel and Samantha). BJ graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in geophysics and works for a company in Houston that specializes in writing exploration software. Andrew graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in mechanical and chemical engineering and is just finishing up his masters in chemical engineering. We have five (5) grandchildren so far (neither one of my sons are married), ages ranging from 13 to 3. My wife and I live north of Houston near the Woodlands."
