Linda and family, 2007
After graduation Linda worked for the City of Dallas and The Duncanville School District, but her main professions have included floral design and massage therapy. She enjoys life by spending her free time exercising, bike riding, skiing and enjoying her favorite roll as wife, mother and grandmother!

Linda is happily married to a wonderful man, James Henry. They have four incredible children - two beautiful daughters and two great sons. The daughters, and the oldest son are married. Both girls are in Texas. One son is in Oklahoma and the oldest son is in Colorado.

"Well, let me begin by saying that retirement didn't last long for me!!! I absolutely am no good at being still. I went to visit our son in Denver in 2004, and while I was there I went into a new Wal-Mart which was set beautifully against the foothills in Littleton. The rest is history.

"I applied for a position that day! I called my husband to let him know that my trip would be longer than anticipated. He joined me there shortly thereafter. He also went to work again. He left the high tech world he had been involved in for years with the newspapers and became a "HAPPY" salesperson in the electronics department in the same store. Before the year was over, I became an Assistant Store Manager for Wal-Mart. Now, we have transferred back to the ranch in Oklahoma, where we both continue to work for Wal-Mart. I am still an Assistant Manager and hope to remain with the company long enough to become a great, very old, "People Greeter." Remind me never to slow down again, it's just not fun for me!

"We are so very thankful to have yet another wonderful grandson. Mason, is the fifth grandchild! I love those babies! The oldest Grandson, Dallas, (Daughter Jamie's son), is a student at A&M. After graduating as Valedictorian from high school, he continues his goals in physiology. My oldest Granddaughter Alyssa, (Jamie's daughter), will join Dallas at A&M this fall after just graduating as Salutatorian from high school. She will be preparing for a career as a physician!"

Daughter Jessica's oldest son, Christian will begin Kindergarten this fall and the new grandson, Mason, will enjoy his class at day care in Bedford! Sydnee, (son Bobby's daughter), will begin third grade in Littleton! "We are of course, so very proud of our family and their accomplishments."
